Prayer and Praise

Praise Reports!

• Car repairs went well and the car has been an absolute blessing! I thank God for it often! I do not know what I would do with out it.
• Life with my house mates has been great and we are getting along well!
• God is constantly blessing COBT and we have had local business owners stopping by to see if they can help with our work!
• God has sent us more hands to do the work through students here on practicum from Blantyre University. What a difference an extra pair of hands can make!
• I have four shadows at home to keep me company. Our four dogs are always under toe and never let you alone for too long. Which is a huge comfort when home alone during a power outage when the night guard is off duty...
• Safety while driving
• All the funding has come in! We are able to stay full term!
• I have found a Church! Flood Church Malawi! This church has an incredible vision to impact a generation and build up their city. What a God given vision with fiery passion they have to glorify God!
• I have met and helped out at a youth group out at ABC (American Bible Collage). Really cool group of kids and leaders. It's been a joy to get to know them. 

Prayer Requests

• For continued safety while driving
• For a soft and humble heart
• For insight, wisdom, and understanding
• For COBT and our work, that we would continue to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients and their families
• For our staff as we continue to plug away at our work - that we would not get discouraged by the magnitude of what needs getting done, and also for our hearts to stay strong even as we see some of our kids pass on to the next life. This is far too common and has happened two or three times in the first five weeks I've been here. 
• For those I am leaving behind in Vancouver, to be loved and cared for. For God's great will be done in and through their lives.
• For COBT to receive funds for a proper inverter so work can continue even during power outages which happens multiple times a day and lasts for hours.
